Eagles Nest
No in person Eagles Nest this week. We will wear black jerseys, black game pants and black socks this weekend for the game against the Northville Colts.  If your kids are on the play structure at Riley either before or after practice please supervise them.  Every day our coaches and directors are receiving complaints about the behavior of unsupervised children.  If you are hanging around after practice, please stand close by and monitor their behavior. Many thanks in advance. 

Due to Homecoming prep - PRACTICE NEXT FRIDAY WILL BE AT BENTLEY.  We will have in person Eagles Nest with pizza and Gatorade sales.  Hopefully the loud cups will be in and for sale as well as black game socks.

Eagles Gear SWAP - SEPT 20th
WE NEED DONATIONS!!!!   Do you have old Eagles shirts and camp pack items that no longer fit you or your kids?  Cheer shoes, cleats etc?  We are going to try something new this year and organize an Eagles Swag Swap.  There will be a bin at practice over by the football POD/ bathrooms where we will be collecting shirts, shoes, shorts, sweatshirts - any old Eagles gear you want to pass down to the next generation of fans. All donations need to be in by Sept 19th so we can organize and have out prior to Eagles Nest on Sept 20th.  As soon as the table is set up it will be first come, first serve. 

The BIG Game @ Eastern Michigan University Spirit Store is OPEN
On October 6, 2024 the Livonia Eagles will play the Livonia Orioles at Eastern Michigan's Rynearson Stadium.  All spectators will need to purchase a ticket to gain entrance into the stadium. In preparation for this game, The Livonia Eagles Football online store has been launched. Homecoming
This years theme is DISCO.  If you ordered a banner from the picture day company, those are in, and will be put up around the track for Homecoming.  If you did not order a poster/ banner you still have time to create your own.  In the past families have had good luck with Vistaprint, Overnight Signs & Banners on 5 Mile and Staples.  All banners need to be dropped at the POD by Sept 19.  Practice will be at Bentley next Friday night so if you didn't drop your banner at the POD, bring it to Bentley next Friday night the 20th.  Look for information from your coaches and Team Moms regarding floats and decorations.  We are in need of convertibles of our 8th graders. During each halftime our cheerleaders will be performing a pom routine.  The first parade will be prior to start of the freshman game and then at each halftime after that.  Keep in mind - your player might not be able to participate during the halftime of their game as coaches need that time to coach their team prior to the 2nd half.  That means if your player wants to participate in the parades- they will either need to come early or stay later in order to participate.  The ceremony for the outgoing 8th graders and their families will be prior to start of the JV game. Parents will need to gather on the track at the beginning of the 4th quarter.
