WE ARE AT BENTLEY ON 8/13 AND 8/15 DUE TO PICTURES AND AN EVENT AT RILEY.
Eagles Nest
Our first in-person Eagles Nest Unit Pep Rally and Meeting will be this Friday. Our cheerleaders will perform by squad, picture day order forms will be handed out. We will be selling pizza and Gatorade. We are wearing Black Game Socks this year. We will have game socks for sale for $5. Also for sale will be hardwood bonfire bundles supplied by Dukes Hardwood; a small business stated by Varsity Football player Vince Duke. He will be donating 10% of sales back to the Eagles as a thank you for the support this past summer.
Cheerfest
Cheerfest has been officially moved to Saturday October 26th. Disregard the date listed below on the 2024 SMYFA League Calendar.
Pictures
Pictures are scheduled for Tuesday August 13th, AT BENTLEY starting at 5:30 P.M. MAKE SURE YOU TRY ON YOUR FOOTABLL PANTS ASAP. They are new and we need to make sure they fit prior to picture day. We will be passing out picture day order forms on Friday. Even if you are not purchasing photos - EVRYONE MUST TAKE A PHOTO - we use individual photos for the yearbook.
BEFORE YOUR PHOTO DAY: Choose your order method and complete your order paperwork before you arrive!
A) PRE-order online and print a receipt to give to photographer https://www.alleventseast.com/order/ at checkout: NOTE: If you don't own a printer ... you can still order online! After you order online, grab a paper form, and fill out your athlete's name, then just check the box on the very bottom of our order envelope that says "Check Box If Prepaid Online"
B) Fill out a PAPER ORDER FORM & insert Cash/Check. Credit card numbers can be securely written INSIDE the envelope.
PHOTO FORM is held by each player at the time of their photo. The player will hand the form to the photographer themselves so we know who they are!
COACHES please bring an appropriate size CLEAN FOOTBALL and a CLEAN HELMET to use for individual photos. PARENTS wait in area designated for parents/family - only your coach will lead the kids together as a team to their photographer. NO PARENTS will be admitted to the photo area. This helps avoid unnecessary noise, congestion, confusion, and kids being distracted,
NOTE: Paperwork with payment should be completed BEFORE photo time so that photographers stay on schedule.
Photographers cannot make change. Please have correct cash, or check in order form. Write credit card # INSIDE the order envelope.
BANNERS: Visual Sports Network is also offering Homecoming Banners created with your child's photo. They are 2ft x 3ft for $30, printed on vinyl with grommets for hanging around the fence for HOCO. If you wish to order a banner please email Amanda Duke ([email protected]) with your name, your players name as your want it to appear on the banner, squad information, jersey # if applicable. All banners will be delivered in bulk and passed out at practice prior to HOCO on Sept 21,2024. If you wish to order a banner you must email Amanda Duke by 9:00 am on Tuesday, August 13. You must pay for the banner separately from your photo order in either exact cash/check to Amanda Duke or venmo (AmandaDuke@17200) to be included in the bulk order with discounted pricing.

Volunteer Spots
If you sit at a desk all day and work on spreadsheets you might be the perfect candidate to take over either our Registrar or Newsletter Editor KEY Volunteer position. Both positions are considered KEY Volunteer Spots and would satisfy all your season volunteer requirements and can be done from your desk. Our registrar compiles registration extracts, creates rosters, monitors and reports on camp packs, physical uploads, yearbook ads etc. Our Newsletter Editor works directly with our Football and Cheer Directors as well as all Key Volunteers to compile information and write, send and post our Eagles Nest weekly emails. In addition to those 2 KEY roles we are looking for someone to head up selling pizza and drinks at our Friday Pep Rally we call our Eagles Nest or run our Concession Stand this year. The concession stand coordinator works with the other unit's coordinators to order supplies for the stand, instructs those folks who have volunteered to either pick up food or work the concession stand on their jobs and unlocks and locks that stand for home games. Physicals/ SE Document Uploads
Prior to the start of the season all players and cheerleaders must have a physical uploaded into Sports Engine. Shawn will on hand on Tuesday, August 13 at the concession stand during picture day to assist with uploading documents into Sports engine. This is the only day he will be onsite assisting with uploads.
Final Schedule
The annual City Scrimmage will be August 17, 2024. This is an opportunity for all 4 Livonia teams to scrimmage each other prior to the first game. Schedules will be provided closer to the event. Cheerfest has been officially moved to Saturday October 26th.
