Football Camp Dates
The 2-Day Football Camp will be held at Bentley Field on July 22nd and 23rd from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Players from Flag, Freshman, JV and Varsity will be conditioning and working on drills during this time. Make sure you bring plenty of water, cleats or tennis shoes and wear athletic clothing. Raffle ticket pickup will be available at these times as well.

Football Equipment Hand Out
August 5 and August 6 after practice. More details to come. Raffle tickets MUST be picked up AND PAID FOR at Equipment Pick-up … Equipment will not be provided if tickets have not been paid for. We are looking for volunteers to assist handing out equipment. Please contact Shawn if you are willing to help.

Pictures
Pictures are scheduled for Tuesday August 13th, starting at 5:30 P.M. (More details to come.)

Camp Packs
The link is live to purchase your football and cheer camp packs. Please visit http://livoniaeagles.com to purchase. Camp packs are mandatory and include all the items your player will keep for the season including jerseys. Please make sure you are purchasing the correct camp pack for your squad. If a tackle player purchases a flag camp pack, they will not get the correct equipment. Flag should purchase the Flag camp pack and Freshman, JV and Varsity should purchase the tackle camp pack. All football camp packs are OVERDUE!!!!! $25 late fee accessed starting 7/17.

Bentley Clean Up
As previously communicated, every family is required to volunteer for 4 spots each season. The first opportunity to get credits will be at our annual LJAL Bentley Clean Up. Meet your Football Coaches
Thank you to the wives of our head football coaches for introducing us to your husbands as only you can.

John Miller - Varsity Head Coach
Overalls? Jorts? Cowboy hat? You never know what “unique” fashion choices you may see Coach John Miller rocking on the field. But don’t let the questionable outfits fool you, he’s serious about football and more importantly about our kids enjoying the game. The amount of time he dedicates on the field is only measured by the time off the field spent talking about football, watching film, and researching strategy.
John is a true team player – he’s coached for each squad throughout our son’s years as an Eagle. He’s invested in making our entire program succeed - from offering off season conditioning for all squads, to organizing the pre-season combine, to seeking guidance from LPS High School coaches and former college players.
He demands good sportsmanship and stresses strong player development, but John’s best coaching quality is his desire to make sure every kid feels valued.
His excitement to see what the Varsity Eagles can do this year is contagious – GO EAGLES!

Mike Abdo - JV Head Coach
I have coached for multiple high schools for over 40 years.
The funniest time I can remember is the year I was coaching at Detroit CC. John Salter and I were practicing a reverse play. The player running the ball was a slot receiver. While he was running the ball he was taking what seemed like forever to get around the end. When we questioned him about it his reply was "Well, you realize I am running against the wind." We laughed so hard.

Raffle Ticket Pick-Up
Any raffle tickets not yet picked up will need to be picked up AND paid for at Football Equipment Pick Up (August 5/6). Please note, equipment cannot be picked up without payment of the raffle tickets. For those that would like additional raffle tickets or would like to drop off their ticket stubs, you can do so July 22nd and 23rd from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.  You can also reach out to Celestina via text to set up times/dates that work best for you (248-207-8879).

Physicals/ SE Document Uploads
Prior to the start of the season all players and cheerleaders must have a physical uploaded into Sports Engine. Final Schedule

The annual City Scrimmage will be August 17, 2024.  This is an opportunity for all 4 Livonia teams to scrimmage each other prior to the first game. Schedules will be provided closer to the event.
