This week's game is on Saturday, September, 16, 2023 vs. the Dearborn Lions @ Bentley Field. We will be wearing our white jerseys, eagles game pants, and cardinal socks. Early weigh-in will be at 9:30 a.m. Coaches will communicate to players which players should be at the early weigh-in.
Spectators, show your homecoming spirit and wear your favorite Hawaiian shirt!
General Reminders
If your football player or cheerleader either comes early or stays late to watch their siblings games please make sure they stow their gear in their cars. We had an incident during the Walled Lake game where a backpack was taken from next to the concession stand and rifled through over by the practice fields. Thankfully all items were found, but let's prevent this from happening by holding our players and cheerleaders accountable for their items and having them stow their items in the car when not in use.
Volunteer Spots - INFO
When you sign up for a volunteer spot you MUST sign in at the side window on the concession stand. Everyone needs to sign in!
Reminders are sent prior to game day, please read them. As stated in the job descriptions, the jobs are for the entirety of the game, regardless of schedule’s in/out clock time. If you have a different last name than your athlete, please reference their name in your online slot or on the sign in sheet. Post game clean up starts after the varsity game has ended. Arriving early does not negate the need to stay until the field is done.
Eagles Nest
Join us for in-person Eagles Nest this Friday night. We will be selling pizza and drinks as we prep for our Homecoming game. If anyone can donate Gatorade or wants to bake cookies or sweet treats those have sold really well and we would really appreciate the extra help. A limited selection of pink and cardinal socks will be available for purchase at the concession stand window.
Homecoming
ALL BANNERS MUST BE DROPPED OFF BY THE BEGINNING OF PRACTICE THIS FRIDAY. Banners should have grommets or holes at the corners in order to zip tie them to the fence. There will be bins out by the POD all week. If you would like to help our Homecoming Coordinator Stephanie Christy, she will be there at 5:45 beginning to hang banners along the fence line and decorating.
We need convertibles! It is tradition the exiting 8th graders ride in convertibles/ jeeps/ broncos during the parade. If you have a vehicle that fits the bill and are able to help us please contact your Team Mom. All trucks, floats and convertibles need to be on the track by 8:00 am. The order is as always 8th graders in convertibles and trucks first followed by Flag, Freshman, JV and 7th grade Varsity. The first parade around the track will be during the Freshman halftime. All convertibles, trucks and floats need to go around during each parade. Subsequent parades will be held during half-time of each game after Cheer performances. The ceremony for 8th graders will be held before the JV game.
Battle at the BIG House -TICKET PICK UP
Tickets will be available for pickup, and will be available for purchase, from the ticket pickup table at Eagle's Nest. Any tickets not picked up prior to merchandise arrival, the week of 9/22, will be enclosed in the merchandise bag.
Game times are 10:00 am FLAG, 12pm FRESHMAN, 2pm JV and 4pm VARSITY. Doors will open at 8:00am. Flag will practice prior to their game. All other squads will practice on the practice field outside the stadium prior to their game. Additional details to come.
Tickets are $15 if purchased before 9/25. If purchased on or after 9/25 they will be $20. TICKETS WILL NOT BE SOLD AT THE DOOR. All players, cheerleaders and coaches are free of charge. Tickets and merch will be distributed at Eagles Nest, practice or via your coach prior to the game. We will provide additional details when the merch arrives. If you selected "mail to me" tickets/bracelets will be mailed to the address provided but merch will not be mailed and must be picked up in person.
A few reminders for the day of: All bags will be checked by staff. Parents will be allowed to bring in water for themselves. Only water will be allowed on the field. Any game snack will need to be brought in by the coaches and kept in the locker room. They will not be allowing parents to bring in any food so if you signed up for snack for the BIG HOUSE game you will need to deliver snacks to a Coach prior to the game, perhaps the day before. Concession stands will be open but limited and cashless. Parking is free and you can park in the lots in the attachment. There will be a professional photographer onsite. For a small fee, you can have professional action shots taken of your player specifically. The Livonia Eagles will be given a rebate for every player that signs up so this is a great fundraiser for us. Details to come closer to the event.

Pink Out
We are starting to gather donations for our PINK OUT game October 14, 2023. We will be assembling raffle baskets. Beer, wine, liquor, mixers, glasses, goods, services, lottery tickets, cash to purchase items to fill baskets will all be accepted.
