Eagles Nest 8/21/2025

Eagle Nation!

This Sunday we take on the Novi Bobcats at Novi High School - 24062 Taft Rd, Novi, MI 48375! Please be on the lookout for emails from your coaches and/or communication in Sports Engine regarding arrival time, uniforms, etc!

Only authorized personnel are allowed on the field during practice and games.  Unless a Coach or Director has called you onto the field or on the track during game day - please stay in the designated spectator area.

We also ask you to please not approach the girls at the fence during their game, it can be a distraction to them.

PHYSICALS:

If you have not loaded your child’s physical into Sports Engine you must do so before the first game.
You can download the MHSAA Sports Physical form via google. If you need step by
step instructions to upload a physical visit the “Parents” tab on the Livonia Eagles website and
under documents view the “Player Document Upload Instructions”.

Parent and Player Code of Conduct

  • At all times, I will conduct myself in an appropriate manner both on and off the field of play. I will treat all coaches, my teammates, my opponents, game officials/referees and all league officials with respect, and will refrain from acting in such a way that would not represent myself, my team or my league in a positive way. If a parent is found to have gotten into a verbal dispute with a referee, they will no longer be able to be on the premises during practice and games. Zero tolerance.
  • Will not engage in fighting, harassing, bullying, taunting, name-calling, etc.
  • All directors/ coaches/ and volunteers are just that, volunteers. Please act accordingly.
    We are not paid employees.
  • I will avoid the use of profanity, vulgar, lewd or obscene language or gestures.
  • The use of DRUGS, TOBACCO and ALCOHOL is PROHIBITED.
For a complete Code of Conduct please visit:
LJAL Football & Cheer Code of Conduct

24 Hour Rule
Coaches will not discuss a game or situation in a game until at least 24 hours after the fact. Parents/guardians are not allowed to confront a coach, team, player, board member or league official to discuss anything negative until at least 24 hours have passed. This rule is intended to promote a more constructive and respectful approach to handling issues, and to prevent misunderstandings from escalating.

Homecoming Banner Proofs

Below you will find files containing banner proofs for Cheer and Football.  Please find your child and make sure all the information on the banner looks correct, including spelling of names and correct numbers.  If everything looks good, I do not need to hear back from you.

If there are changes or issues, please respond to me directly.  I'm sending in my final approval on Monday 8/25 to ensure they will be printed and delivered before the HOCO game.

How this works is all the banners will be delivered to me.  I will let you know when they come in and if you want to pick yours up you will need to email me and pick up from my house.  Otherwise, all banners will be delivered to Bentley the night before the game so the Homecoming Committee can hang them along the fence for game day.

If you pick your banner up in advance it will be your responsibility to make sure the banner makes it back to the drop off location prior to the final collection time.
