SCRIMMAGE:
The annual City Scrimmage will be August 16, 2025.
CHEER DOES NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE SCRIMMAGE. THIS IS FOR FOOTBALL ONLY.
Due to construction impacting parking at Bentley Stadium please utilize the southern most lot at the Livonia Rec Center. There is limited parking in the 5 Mile lot reserved for those who are handicapped, elderly, expectant mothers and our referees.
PRACTICE:
Due to construction at the Rec Center, Eagles practice facilities have been moved to Riley Upper Elementary School for the duration of the season. Please make sure players/cheerleaders are using the restroom before practice - we do not have access to the bathrooms inside of Riley.
Please note the following practice location changes for the week of August 11th -
Mon, Aug 11 - Riley
Tues, Aug 12 - Bentley - Picture Day
Wed, Aug 13 - Riley
Thur, Aug 14 - Bentley (Riley is hosting the LPS Back to School Event)
Fri, Aug 15 - Riley
Please note that these are no longer optional practices. Unexcused absences can result in missed playing time.
EAGLES NEST:
Our first Eagles Nest Unit Pep Rally and Meeting will be this Wednesday, Aug 13th after practice. Our cheerleaders will perform by squad. We will be selling pizza and Gatorade.
RAFFLE INFORMATION:
Livonia Junior Athletic League Football and Cheer families are required to participate in one mandatory fundraiser per season. This fundraiser is in lieu of raising the overall cost of football/cheer for the year. You can keep the tickets or sell them to family/friends for a chance to win. Money due at pick up. $100/player or $200/2+ players.
If you have not picked up your tickets, please TEXT Celestina @ 248-207-8879 to make arrangements for pick up.
Ticket Stubs will be collected at the Concession Stand at Bentley this Tuesday (Picture Day) and Thursday.
We will have one more collection day next week - Wednesday, Aug 20th - the day before the raffle
PHYSICALS:
If you have not loaded your child’s physical into Sports Engine you must do so before the first game.
You can download the MHSAA Sports Physical form via google. If you need step by
step instructions to upload a physical visit the “Parents” tab on the Livonia Eagles website and
under documents view the “Player Document Upload Instructions”.

ALL FAMILIES ARE REQUIRED TO VOLUNTEER 4 TIMES PER SEASON
Failure to meet the volunteer requirements will result in loss of veteran status and a fee attached to the banquet tickets at the end of the season.
