If you haven't done so already, please make sure your camp pack is paid for ASAP!!!! Camp packs are mandatory and include all the items your player will keep for the season including jerseys!
If you ordered any optional items at the uniform fitting—such as a padded girdle, padded compression shirt, or socks—you will receive an email from [email protected] with the subject line: "Here's your invoice from Livonia Junior Athletic League."

When you sign up for a spot, it is for the entirety of the game, not just the time listed on the signup. We don’t often go into overtime, but some kick-offs start a little late. Weather may also play a factor. It is important to hold your position until the game has ended. For concessions positions, handing off to your replacement and explaining what you’ve been doing is preferred. Please be aware that most volunteer spot positions require standing for the duration of the game.
When you arrive for your shift, go to the small window on the South side of the concessions stand where there will be a sign in sheet for you to write your name next to your volunteered position.
Please provide your athlete’s name if you think we may have trouble connecting your volunteer credit to them.
If you are asked to volunteer for a spot by anyone other than the Volunteer Coordinator, please email or text: your name, your athletes name, position filled, and which game/date to receive proper volunteer credit.
Our responsibility to fill certain spots differ from home and away games. Our booth and field obligations sometimes get filled by the home team at our away games. If you volunteer a spot and the other team tells you they have it covered, please let a Director or the Volunteer Coordinator know as soon as possible.

Photos will be preordered, so you will NOT see proofs, however, Visual Sports Network has a satisfaction guarantee.
Ordering Banners: Our deadline is tight so that banners will arrive in time to hang - BANNERS MUST BE PAID BY PHOTO DAY.
Livonia Eagles will send information on how to sign up to purchase and pay for your banner.
Note: EVERY PLAYER must take an individual photo, in addition to the team photo, so that they are pictured in the yearbook.

Physicals
If you have not loaded your child’s physical into Sports Engine you must do so before the first game. You can download the MHSAA Sports Physical form via google. If you need step by
step instructions to upload a physical visit the “Parents” tab on the Livonia Eagles website and
under documents view the “Player Document Upload Instructions”.
Practice:
Due to construction at the Rec Center, Eagles practice facilities have been moved to Riley Upper Elementary School for the duration of the season.
Football Practice
The official start of the season is August 4th. Please keep an eye out in sports engine for communication regarding practice days and times.
- Before first game:
- 4-5 days per week (m-f) tackle
- 3-4 days per week (m-f) flag
- 5:30pm to 8pm – will adjust for daylight or coach schedule.
- After first game:
- 3-4 days per week (m-f) tackle
- 2-4 days per week (m-f) flag
- 5:30pm to 7:30pm – will adjust for daylight or coach schedule.
- Possible film sessions and/or walkthrough before game day at coaches’ discretion.
- What to bring/ wear
- Helmet/ shoulder pads/ practice jersey/ practice pants/ cleats/ cup/ water
Please note that these are no longer optional practices. Unexcused absences can result in missed playing time.

Livonia Junior Athletic League Football and Cheer families are required to participate in one mandatory fundraiser per season. To stream-line the process we require full payment of raffle tickets at pick-up. Any additional ticket requests above the required amount can be coordinated via Celestina (text her at 248-207-8879). Please note additional tickets will also require prepayment at the time of pickup. Ticket stub collection details to come.

Homecoming
Past Homecoming games have included a theme, halftime performances by the cheerleaders and posters of the players/cheerleaders lining the field.
Posters: Parents are encouraged to make a poster for their player or cheerleader to
hang on the fence that day. Some families choose to make homemade posters with the player’s
picture, squad, jersey number and whatever decorations that you would like to add. Other
families choose to have posters made at Costco or other photo processing centers(Banner ordering info to come). Have fun with it but no need to break the bank!
