Hello Eagles Parents,
 

This weekend we are playing the Livonia Orioles and partnering with them in their Down Syndrome Awareness Game.  If you ordered a t-shirt please wear it in support this weekend.  The boys will be wearing gray jerseys and blue or yellow socks in they have them.  There will not be an Eagles Nest meeting this Friday night.  We hope to receive and hand out any spirit wear orders by this week. 

YETI Cooler Raffle
If you have not picked up your raffle tickets for our YETI Cooler Raffle or if you need additional tickets please see Celestina Gentry ([email protected]) or any Director. We are still looking for donations to fill the cooler  We are in need of tequila, bourbon, specialty liqueurs, mixers such as vermouth, grenadine, a shaker, glasses etc.  Anything you can donate we will gladly accept.  There will be a bin at the POD everyday during practice to drop your donations off in.  The drawing will be held at the banquet on November, 18, 2022. 

Banquet
Our annual Football and Cheer Banquet is Friday, November 18, 2022 at the St. Mary's Cultural Center on Merriman Rd. All Coaches, Football Players and Cheerleaders are free but must be included in your registration so they are counted. There is assigned seating and families must sit together.  Ticket are $25 each.  Link to purchase tickets coming very soon.  All tickets must be purchased by November, 4, 2022.  If you do not register by November 4th, you will not be able to attend the banquet.  

PINK OUT
SEEKING DONATIONS FOR PINK OUT!
The 2022 Pink Out! Committee is hard at work collecting donations of all kinds to make baskets to be raffled off at this year’s Pink Out! Games on Sunday, October 16!
If you own a business, have a closet full of unopened gifts you’re planning to re-gift, a stash of gift cards you’ll never spend, or a beauty bag filled with subscription box items that you can’t possibly use in one lifetime… please consider donating them to our cause!
This year, Game on Cancer and Jake Moody’s Good for 3 fundraiser will benefit from our efforts. Every year, the Livonia Eagles strive to do some good in this world through our Pink Out! Fundraiser and we are able to do more when everyone gets involved in some way. We have a ton of baskets planned, and can make a basket out of almost anything (just ask the Eagles family who won a faucet or another who went home with a new toilet!) For the most part, we will take any unopened items, unused gift cards, beer/liquor/mixers for a wagon of cheer, or even cash donations to help us round out a particular basket or to invest in BIG TICKET items.
If you own a business, or work for a business, that would like to donate, we can provide the Tax Exemption info for each of the organizations we are working with this year. If you have an “in” somewhere like a hotel or a retailer who you think might be willing to donate, please share our message. If you have access to sporting event tickets or local tours, we would love to spotlight those in a themed basket. Our BIG TICKET items haven’t been decided yet. In years past, we have had some incredible business donations of new TV’s, YETI Coolers, Outdoor Entertaining items, even a whole Playscape! We can arrange a pickup for any items, even the large ones 
Here are some of the items/ideas we are looking to create baskets with for 2022:
Sports items, children's toys and games, young adult and teen items, lottery tickets, family fun, mens/womens products, coffee things, popcorn, massages, hair and skin care, candles, holiday decorations, housekeeping supplies, golf and bowling accessories, pet toys and care items, books and craft kits, automotive accessories, home based business items, first aid, kitchen stuff, bath décor, U of M and MSU branded things, tools and jewelry and fitness, oh my!  If you would like to donate, we will be collecting items at practices and games.
