It's that time of year to start thinking of the upcoming football and cheer season...here are some dates coming up to put on the calendar...
Parent Meeting: The annual mandatory parent meeting will be on Tuesday May 22, 2012 at the Civic Center Library at 7:00 pm in the main auditorium. We will discuss this years budget, parent code of conduct, and what to expect for the upcoming season. More details to follow later this week. It is very important to make sure that at least one parent is representing each family.
Cheer Uniform Fittings: Saturday June 2, 2012...Cheer Director Heather Giampaola will send out an e-mail with all the particulars.
Football Physicals: Saturday June 9, 2012 at 8:00 am at Livonia Family Physicians (on Newburgh across from Laurel Park Place Mall)...more info to follow.
Eagles Football and Cheer Camp: Saturday June 9, 2012 from 11:00 til 1:30 (time is tentative) at the Bentley Field. There is no additional charge this year for the camp. More details will follow, and we should have things finalized by the parent meeting.
Football Equipment hand out: Week of July 16th....more details will follow.
First day of Football and Cheer Practice: First day of practice will be Wednesday August 1, 2012. More details will follow....
Picture Day: Saturday August 11, 2012 at 9:00 am at the Bentley Field.
Eagles Parent Bowling Night: Saturday night August 11th at Merri-Bowl Lanes...more details will follow. This is a great night out to meet some of your fellow Eagle Parents and socialize in an Adult atmosphere. You don't want to miss this annual event.
LJAL Annual four way scrimmage: Saturday August 11, 2012. The four Livonia Football groups scrimmage each of the other three squads. Tentative time is 10:00 am til 1:00 pm....more details to follow.
LJAL Flag Football Tournament: Sunday August 18, 2012. The four Livonia Flag teams compete in the annual event ....more details will follow.
Season Starts: The 2012 Western Lakes Junior Football League kicks of the weekend of August 25th and 26th....we have a tentative schedule, but as of now, nothing has been finalized. We are hoping to be able to release the schedule on June 9th at our Annual Football Camp. In past years the schedule has been changed. We are waiting for the other teams to confirm (from the high school fields that they use) that those dates are good. Once the WLJFL has received confirmation from all twelve teams, we will let everyone know.
We look forward to seeing everyone on the 22nd at our Eagle Parent Meeting, and picking up where we left off after a very successful 2011 season.

Parent Only Meeting
The Eagles will hold its annual mandatory parent meeting on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 7:00PM at the Civic Center Library, on 5 Mile Rd.This meeting is an extremely important start to the 2012 football season; we will review parent and player expectations, tentative season activities and other critical information. Please make sure to mark your calendars, children or participants need not be present.

2012 Uniforms
Thanks to 2011 fundraising efforts, all eagle teams will have new uniforms this year. We want to thank the entire Eagle nation for reaching this extremely successful goal.
